The deeply weathered volcanic rocks of the Aguacate Group in Costa Rica, mainly andesites and breccias. This is the documentation of the outcrops according to the Interamerican Road from Esparza, another ca 20 km towards San José. Possible hydrothermal alteration and presence of quartz veins indicate gold mineralization. Heavily weathered rocks are referred to by Costa Rican geologists as H.M. | Žáček, Vladimír | 2007
